Dr Shaun Quigley is an Interventional Radiologist and endovascular specialist with over 15 years experience. His goal is to increase public and patient awareness of the minimally-invasive, safe and effective treatment options offered by Interventional Radiology ensuring patients have a choice between conventional surgical treatments and modern non-surgical alternatives.

Dr Quigley completed his medical training in the UK graduating from the University of Glasgow. He went on to work at some of the UK’s busiest and most prestigious hospitals, including Europe’s largest trauma hospital and one of the UK’s busiest transplant units. He worked as a specialist Interventional Radiologist at the Royal Free Hospital in London, gaining expertise in the treatment of cancer, fibroids, liver and venous disease. He relocated to Sydney with his family in 2017 and now works across Sydney, at St George Public Hospital and the new Northern Beaches Hospital.

Dr. Quigley has recognition and accreditation in both the UK (as a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists) and Australia (as a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists). Dr. Quigley is also one of the few Australian Interventional Radiologists to have been awarded the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR)- international recognition of advanced experience, knowledge, and skills in Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Quigley is active in the training and assessment of junior doctors. He has been faculty and taught numerous courses in Europe and has presented at conferences in the UK, Europe, and the USA.

Dr. Quigley has worked with and learned from world experts in the treatment of fibroids, prostate disease, varicose veins, and cancer.

In his public and private practices, Dr. Quigley offers you high-quality individualised care which takes into account your concerns and wishes, as opposed to the ‘one size fits all’ many patients have experienced. He believes that genuine team-work across medical specialists and primary care results in the best outcomes for patients.
